Researched Icelandic bands before being able to visit the country in 2019 and found primarily Misþyrming!!!! They reignited and intensified an existing ( and somewhat on the back burner at the time ) love of heavy music. Even listened on the flight there! I have gotten into a lot of great bands because of them.

Not even joking when I say this is one of the best black metal albums of the last 20 odd years. Absolutely mindblowing melodicism and brutality. Orgia does some things with guitar on it that I have never heard before. Mispyrming doesn’t miss.
